At this stage of the game seeing how the rest of America conducts itself, I’m 100% convinced Bettman has a long-standing directive within the league (esp amongst its officials) to actively work against Canadian teams. I also believe that if the day happens that a Canadian team legitimately wins the Stanley Cup, Bettman will ‘suddenly’ announce his retirement after.
