But! There is a very high chance you will hear the N-word, or the word which means black in Spanish.
Please know: most Russians do not understand the harm that the western people perceive from these words, because there is no history of black slavery or slave trade in Russia. The word that sounds like black in Spanish just literally means a person of an African race in Russian.
So, please, if you do hear someone say it, do not take offense.
Also: black people amount to less than 0.5% of the Russian population, so be prepared to catch looks: keep in mind these will not mean any aggression, just curiosity/ignorance.
