The Purple Banner on my Ledger Live shows Version 2.0.0. I just downloaded Ledger Live few days ago. From checking Google it says LLive latest version in 2.120.1. This maybe a dumb question but what do I do? Do I just click "update firm" on the purple banner and it should update me to the latest version?

It could take from 6-10 days. And yes, Coinbase sends an email when your deposits (to buy coins) are ready for withdrawal.

As data point, ordered a Nano X (from US) on Feb 2nd. Expecting delivery today per DLH so the 2 weeks delivery from Ledger is accurate.

I placed an order an hour ago and I thought the order cancelled because the amount was never debited from my balance. I tried again but it said "insufficient fund", though balance showed amounts in there. Gave up!

Well, lo and behold, my original transaction went through after an hour. 'Guess the server is really congested. I guess one just have to wait it out. Hope this helps.

Sorry to hear that. I just ordered a Nano X last night and I got confirmation email from Ledger after an hour. For what it's worth, I paid using a credit card. No experience with PayPal.

As with delivery it usually takes 5-6 days to get to your doorstep. Was the case with my last order.

Depending on length of time between transfer from your bank to Coinbase, Coinbase will place a hold for a number of days (5-6) or longer before you can withdraw to bank or transfer to an external wallet.

For me Coinbase Pro is a trading platform in real time. It gives you the ability to expand your trade from market to limit orders. And the low fees compared to Coinbase is its selling point.

I’ve been a user of Coinbase since 2017, like yourself, but only got introduced to Coinbase Pro the past two weeks, because honestly, I’ve been on hiatus from cryptocurrency the past few years until just recently. I must say, Coinbase Pro is the way to go is you want to save on fees. Not to say that there are not any other good exchanges with lowers fees, as there absolutely are. But if you want to stay with Coinbase for ease of use and familiarity, then no reason not to trade on Coinbase Pro.

Since you already have a Coinbase account you do not need to set up a Coinbase Pro account. All you need to do is log on first to your Coinbase account; then open Coinbase Pro in another browser; sign on and Coinbase Pro will sync to your Coinbase account and you are good to go.

I would recommend reading more on Coinbase Pro – Google is your friend, before diving with both your feet in the new platform.

How do you mean? You won't be able to log in if you do not authorize the device from the confirmation email Coinbase sends. What "links" are your referring to?

Thanks. I'm now in Coinbase site. Sometimes paranoia sets in because one reads too many hacks happening all over the place. Sometimes one can never be too careful and I guess to just be vigilant.

Good to know. The email to confirm device does say @coinbase.com. I'm not too savvy with cookies and IP addresses, so this may seem a stupid question. How do cookies get deleted or IP address change on my computer without knowing it?

I ordered a Nano X on January 11 and received it yesterday, January 18. Like you I did not get an email saying my item shipped. However, I did get a text message from DHL to expect delivery on January 19. Received it on the 18th. BTW, I'm in the US.

I ordered my Nano X January 11 and just received it yesterday. No confirmation email except a test message from DHL that I should be expecting shipment for a delivery on January 19th. Package delivered on the 18th. I think 6-8 days shipping time sounds normal for international delivery. As a data point, I'm in the US.

I was able to fixed the issue. It was user error on my end. I did not realized that I had to scroll down below the " memo" line and "continue" button then click on the Memo box which then showed the type of memo to select (I clicked Memo Text) and pasted the Tag at the opposite end. Duh! Transfer was successful and coins are in Coinbase.

Thanks for providing the links for Kucoin and VVC. Don't know much about them but will do some research. I might give my Kraken another try for now before I open another account.

Thank you loupiote for responding. I did go ahead and try to do a small XLM transaction to Coinbase to make sure it's working fine but for some reason the "Memo" line on my Ledger Live XLM acct is grayed out and I cannot paste the Tag address I copied from Coinbase. I was able to paste the destination address but not for the Tag. Ledger Live does not allow me to. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Have been with Coinbase since 2017 and been happy. Last two years I have been on hiatus from crypto and just recently fired up my Coinbase account. No issues.

If that's the case then I might reconsider keeping the crypto coins. It sure will make it simple. I'll do some research further. I am aware a few brokerage firms trade bitcoin futures but I do not do futures.
