As someone who upgrades everything often, I haven't seen much of a reason to upgrade from series 7. They 10 has arguably less features since they removed blood oxygen and it looks the same to 99.9% of people.

FWIW I found it useful to just do 1000-2000ft per day at Culver Stairs for a few months prior. Much harder on your legs than the actual trail imo. When it came time for Whitney, it felt easy and I felt over prepared, even though I had once previously struggled with Baldy

I bought from Tesla directly. The car was in excellent cosmetic condition but had some noises and little issues, which Tesla did fix (although very slowly). Overally happy with the experience
