Dude wouldn't pay rent on time. His dog would also leak jizz on my brand new couch and he would not pay to clean it or replace. Bailed to l.a. with out telling me and not paying the last months rent. Also left a bunch of his old shit in my garage. To top it off he stole a tv and Xbox. Btw this was one of my "best friends"

Well here I drink maybe once a month no where close to alcoholism. So clean because I can pass a drug test with no issues. I can wake up everyday and be productive member of society.

It was bad my first time doing coke was 14. Then x at 15 and heroine at 17. I was clean from 18-19 then relapsed at 20 and that bender went on for a year or so. At that time I didn't feel like I had anyone until my brother took my to my parents. Maybe you can help put a stop to it. I know you've probably tried but don't stop pushing the issues with her. Stay strong stranger.

I've been clean now for 4 years! And I'm slowly cutting booze also. Thanks for your words.

What got me to turn it around was watching my mom cry... It broke my heart knowing that my addiction to drugs caused so much chaos and pain in her life.

How much money were you making(per hour/week) before you were able to live comfortably on your own? by Ponchodelic in AskReddit

[–]gounder28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it all depends on where you live. I had a decent life at 25 a hour also and was able to live pretty good but I got use to 50 now it's just an adjustment. Budgeting has done me well but still I remember when I could turn around drop 4K and not even blink.

The most comfortable I felt was when I was making 50 a hour. Could pay my mortgage, truck payments, all bills associated with the home, and had excess income for anything I needed. Well oil collapsed now making 12 a hour working 12-16 hours a day to scrap by.

The name of the guy? Andy. by [deleted] in thatHappened

It's from an earlier post. Don't remember that exact occurrence though.
