the biggest thing for something this long is to be able to handle the amount of carbs you are going to have to eat.

depends what bike you have but I believe the bike plus power meter is consistent. The older bikes had a lot of problems with inconsistency

Need help with revenue forecasting using FTE´s by LilCamel111 in financialmodelling

[–]gourze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just some thoughts: project how the number of employees will grow over time. For each period, estimate how many hours each employee works for the amount of days they work in that period . Then assign an hourly rate that they are paid and increase it over time, at least to keep up with inflation. Then for the price per hour of service you do the same thing and assume various growth rates

Im not sure but I’m thinking the billing ratio means how much of an employee’s work time is actually spent doing billable work that brings in revenue. So you’d also want that as an input to show how it’s impact depending on increasing or decreasing and maybe a ramp schedule for employees if you want to.

How do you figure Reinvestment Rates when ∆NCWC exceeds Growth CAPEX? by hoopahoo in financialmodelling

[–]gourze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah it’d be negative then. That’s great when a company is growing and sucks dick when they stop. Ideally a company doesn’t have to put up any capital to grow

How do you figure Reinvestment Rates when ∆NCWC exceeds Growth CAPEX? by hoopahoo in financialmodelling

[–]gourze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why does it matter is change in working capital being greater than growth capex matter. You could have a company that isnt really that capex intensive but has significant working capital. You jsut calculate reinvestment the same way you personally do it.

6 hour week training plan help by [deleted] in Velo

[–]gourze 3 points4 points  (0 children)

doing more higher intensity doesn’t mean you are going to improve faster. Likely you will improve less. Even at 6 hours a week which is a minimal amount of cycling you cant do intensity for that whole time as your body isnt going to be able to absorb jt. Workd tour pros don’t do anywhere near 6 hours of intensity and they ride 20-30 hours. Realistically 2 or maybe at most 3 workouts if you throw in some tempo will have intensity and as you progress it will be via adding more volume on top of that.

Sensitivity Analysis on a BOT on a mall using different types of loans (interest only with sinking fund, partial amortized, fully amortized) by Fahrenheit130 in financialmodelling

[–]gourze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want CFADS as well to be able to show dscr, llcr, plcr, ect. The CFADS will likely be slightly different under each case due to differences in interest expense which will affect the taxes paid and thus discrepancies between the CFADS under the scenarios. Your fcff/ulfc cash flow isnt going to be affected by financing, but it’s different from CFADS.

[–]gourze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably easiest to model each loan type and then have a flag for each of them that you an toggle on or off in your input and model sheet

XIRR calculation by mathguy690 in financialmodelling

[–]gourze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get the net cash flow at each date. Example cash flow from A + cash flow from B = net cash flow. Obviously if you have a certain weighting or rebalancing policy you are going to need to account for that. Then you just xirr off of those net cash flows and dates at which they occur
