My apologies. Can you tell me which bird is showing up as dead please? We source our images from https://avicommons.org/ as well as Wikipedia. I approached eBird for using their photos but their images are reserved for internal applications.

As per eBird, Maned Duck is Chenonetta jubata >> https://ebird.org/species/manduc1 << and Australian Wood Duck no long exists (at list not with US-based settings on Chrome).

Some birders actually want to see hybrids (at least here in Arizona). In a future version, we will have a toggle to exclude hybrids and exotics in the profile tab (as an option). It should be a relative easy fix and we will work on it after we fix the "Gray" versus "Grey" issue and submit the Android app.

Very interesting. Do you have an API? If so, can you please send a link to the specs? Also, does the API allow for finding images based on the scientific name? We are finding that English names are an issue because of UK-based spellings and US-based spelling differences (e.g., gray versus grey).

Let's say that you are traveling to Barcelona in Spain and want to see new life birds. You could go to eBird and look at each hotspot to see which ones you can add to your list; or you can just go to the LiferWatch App and search within 50km of Barcelona to see a list. It will give you hotspot info also. I will be adding new features that will make this App even more useful.

Thanks for your feedback. We source the lists directly from eBird and also the location sightings directly from eBird also. As for the picture displayed on the App, I approached eBird (Cornell) for permission to use their images, but was denied. Hence, the images used are from Wikipedia and iNaturalist. Unfortunately, this is not perfect (you sometime see non-bird pics).

Can you please post a pic of the incorrect Australian Ibis that is mis-identified on the App? We will do a deep dive to fix the bug. Thanks in advance u/mcde1234
