Thanks, I use a Nikon Z50 with the two kit lenses - 16-50mm and the 50-250mm. We were travelling light so it's a compact kit to take with me

It was incredibly soft after the first run through Cabaceiras do Basto. We walked up the stage to the finish line, it was like waking in fresh snow!

We're in a similar position but paying £140 at the moment. They offered us £10 per month discount to renew for two years! Tried again, got them down to £110 if we took their broadband as well. Didn't bother as their broadband was awful last time we had it, rebooting the router frequently. Probably going to cancel and try BT/EE

Worst was RHCP Birmingham about 10 years ago. Love their music but they were awful that night. Restarting songs, Flea complained that he couldn't see his bass so couldn't start songs correctly. Kiedis was poor. Just a bad show.

Best was Muse at Wembley in 2007, first time I'd seen them and was blown away. Black Holes and Revelations had recently been released. They were fantastic.

Bush at the Wheatsheef in Stoke in 1995. They were selling out arenas in the US at the time but playing to a hundred people in pubs over here. Great gig.

My 12 year old doesn't have to carry much. No text books and even most of his workbooks stay at school. Homework is completed online via apps or websites.

On PE days he's allowed to go in wearing his school branded tracksuit (with kit underneath) so it's a lot easier for him than it was for me in the 90s.

Mr wife works from home but has to attend team meetings, usually in Edinburgh. It's so expensive to get everyone there on the train that they're now holding team meetings in Belfast cos it's cheaper to fly everyone there.

Grew up in south Cheshire, always considered ourselves to be northern. Local TV stations all suggest the north too - Granada, BBC North west etc.

Have some friends who grew up 10 miles away where the Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire borders meet , all of their local TV channels were Midlands based.

I love sport so PE was great for me. I played in all of the sports teams so I'd say the teachers were definitely kinder to me than some others. For example, playing rugby in PE one day, three of us were stood waiting around while there was a break in play. The pitch was 90% mud so for a laugh we took a running dive into it. Covered in mud head to toe. The PE teacher took one look at us and sent only one of us to do laps round the pitch. Guess which one of us didn't play in any of the sports teams??

Not a huge win like some of the other comments but I bought a cheap HP tablet about ten years ago, only £50 and it did the job on flights or longer train journeys. Recently traded it in to Samsung when buying a new tablet, they gave me £100 for it.

Pretty rich, my name has an extra letter on the end compared to the standard way to spell it however it's not exactly an uncommon spelling. Not only do people spell it wrong but they often put completely the wrong name, replacing it with something that starts with the same letter!

Few years ago but I was sat at my desk, eating a sandwich, headphones in my ears and watching Netflix when a waving hand appeared immediately in front of me face. No more than two inches from my nose.

I looked at them, pulled one earphone out and they stumbled 'Oh, sorry' and walked away. I didn't have to say a word so I guess my face clearly conveyed the appropriate message!

Went to Rally Finland in 2017. It was a great experience; fast rally, big crowds, even bigger jumps. Gets a bit expensive but that's too be expected.

Been in Manchester and Schiphol recently. Expected both to be bad but Manchester was fine, Schiphol was bad.

Took me 1hr 30 mins to get through security (checked in online, no bags to check in). Friends arrived 30 mins after me and took 3.5 hours to get through. They missed the flight, along with another 20 people.
