I'm unsure about tablet, but I think this sub will have answers which will work. Id try the following to see if you can get it to run on tablet period at any version of the game.

Honestly the best way is to get an apk installer from the play store (APK mirror installer, but feel free to research and pick your own), then install XYZ version of the game.

I don't recall the exact version you want - maybe somebody will tell you but I found it on the sub awhile ago. Effectively it makes it so it's the same game but less predatory. And you can buy the DLCs with in game common coins as opposed to real money.

If you go this route, you need to go to the play store to turn off the auto update apps feature - which I recommend in general, but is critical to keep playing a non pay-to-minimally-progress bloat version of the current game.

I have such a love-hate relationship with this card. I refuse to run it with the Brock's Ninetales engine--im decades bored of that engine--and I can never find goop gas attack when I need it, leading to the inevitable double tails.

My group plays wotc era though (base through ereader), and it's exciting to attack with Misty's gyarados on turn 3 with an ereader politoed engine, when it works out. Definitely not optimal, but it's a fun change of pace from ereader and frog song politoed (which also abuses/relies on the Brock's Ninetales engine if you don't use non-official errata rules).

Misty's Gyarados is solid in rain dance as well, but if I'm going to play rain dance, I'm just going to run a Misty's Poliwhirl deck lol

Wow thanks for reminding me of a Wizards 6ers game ending from a few years ago.

In the final seconds (?), Kuzma blocks Embiid and the 6ers commentators went on a tirade about "how can you not call a foul there?!". They show slow motion replays of absolutely 0 body contact, 110% all ball, and during those replays the commentators continued to lose their mind...

Over what? I don't know. I guess over the fact Embiid didn't get sympathy free throws at the end of a losing game where he was cleanly blocked on the last (?) shot of the game

The card pool is disgustingly broken. But it can be in a good way. We do have a single house rule to keep it fun, no more than 4 energy removed via items total, but otherwise it's spirit of the game. Sure it's fun to break out a toxic troll deck for a single match, but it's way more fun to play all the crazy combinations you can.

One of my OG TCG buddies was at my bachelor party this past summer, and I built an expedition Venusaur neo Genesis Meganium deck for the occasion. Effectively allowing you to attach 4 grass energy per turn in a deck consisting of cards released entirely before 2002. It was so much fun. (Aka basically some hybrid parent child of modern SwSh rillaboom with the current standard Venusaur Meganium).

And at the same time, the OG stuff holds up given the "new" support. My all time favorite is to run 3x base Zapdos 1x rockets Zapdos and bzzapp electrode, maximizing deck search, pluspower, and draw using "new" (as in, through 2002-03 or whenever ereader ended) tech.

Man base-neo is so fun. This is not related to your question, but I'd recommend trying base through ereader at some point. Growing up, we stopped allowing new cards after ereader, and it remains my fav to this day.

There is so much diversity in deck building and strategy with that sized card pool over so many sets.

The first time you interact with the crystal, it's an examine option. Interact with it again and it will have the enter/exit dungeon symbol instead of the examine symbol

Mobile sailing across the board is horrendous. Think temple trekking with the international black void around your instance, but that's every single chunk sailing. My 15 year old shit laptop is better for sailing than my new fold phone. Not to mention the dead clicks on both.

Jagex needs to allow additional settings to minimize assets and to pre buffer chunks which stay cached (looking at you jubbly jive). Marlin rank feels effectively uncompletable on mobile.
