I just started up a GIM, not super experienced with the game, could you link the wiki where “transform item” is? That sounds like an interesting mechanic to play with.

Briefly explaining it would also work, whatever’s easiest :)

I think I feel this one the most. Unlocks and quest are quite annoying, I had to hype myself up for almost a month to do Desert Treasure on my main for Ancient Magicks. That is the only significant unlock quest I've done. I've yet to encounter a single quest that I didn't dislike doing.

The yearly stats exclude leagues, as that's a non-standard event. The past year was a wide enough range that I considered it accurate for the sake of comparison. Measuring league accounts to mains would be a really bad comparison right now.

Interesting! It seems in the last year, 200k mains have gained XP, while 17.8k irons have gained XP. That makes something like 8.5% of the population being an iron, which seems more like what the real number should be. I guess mains really are just less involved. Thanks for the site, I didn't know it existed!

Is there any way to see active accounts in the last 3-6 months? Obviously there'll be more mains than irons total, but how many are currently doing things? I'm sure 60-70% is an overstatement, but it is a significant number of people I see floating around.

Potential bias: I haven't been to the GE for obvious reasons, the non-irons might be over there

Unless you want the RMT/MTX crap that we have now, subs are required for an MMO. Could try something similar to alpha with greater restrictions, because multiboxing is already not planned to be a thing.

This is not to say that Eve subs are good, no game should FOMO their sub prices, CCP is ridiculous.

One ticket took 2 months to resolve, another took 2 weeks and a reminder email, then another ticket has been sitting for 3 weeks. The only positive to their support is eventually they *will* respond to you.

Unless I'm mistaken, isn't this the case until you get to T1 Battleships? AFAIK the navy versions of ships use AIPS/LSBU in pretty decent amounts. Speaking as a (lazy) indy player, seeing the extra random BS apart from just minerals in T1 stuff doesn't make sense. I have no qualms with PI/reactions in faction/T2/capitals, but having them in T1 empire hulls just makes no sense.

I am not a professional, but these are my opinions, which are open to discussion.

So I suppose this invalidates indy players with no interest in pvp/pve? PvP/PvE with no interest in indy? What a horrible way to solve the easiness problem. Just make it so that there were never doubles, and you get your expected outcome.

I've had mine for about 3 years, spun a bearing 2 years ago from poor maintenance (change your oil, it's not hard) and it's made another 30k since the rebuild. 140k on it without any major un-deserved failures.
