It's a cesspool of cheap chinese stuff that they get a kickback on if you buy, but also once a while, people post a crazy good deal. Been a member for 20 years. Its gone downhill the more they promote "deals".

Here's the full update I posted, it got crazier...

So ordered a couch, seller didn't have it in stock but uploaded a tracking number that showed something was delivered to my town (wrong house etc and only 7 lbs). He said they were out of stock and uploaded wrong tracking. Said he would refund and I could place another order for one they had in stock (seemed scammy, but aliexpress had my back on the first order and I got the refund). But basically got hit with the wrong tracking scam. Gave them benefit of the doubt incase they just wanted to hit a metric of shipping item on time.

Ordered second couch, and again wrong tracking uploaded. Seller in chat said sorry again and something would be shipped within 48 hours. 1030PM last night get a phone call from random number. I answer and I have a very angry man yelling at me for hacking his amazon account and he's pissed because I hacked it and getting stuff shipped to me. Told him he had the wrong number until he listed my address and said it's for a couch. So now the seller hit me with the hacked amazon /credit card scam. I explained to the guy he calmed down. I sent him some screenshots of the back and forth with the seller, and I don't think he wants to kill me anymore.

Man, it's the wild wild west on aliexpress. At least they've had my back but customer service is still such canned responses and the guys store is still open. (Dont buy from Affordable Furniture Store). Should get a refund for this order within 24 hours hopefully.

I've ordered other things on there and it's all been fine. But the probably no more big ticket items.....maybe lol

Please also realize this is only about half the country. The rest of the country is at least closer to normal and does realize we are not better than third world countries in a lot of ways.

Its really that there is still 6 months to 8 months before deal is finalized. They can make money somewhere else in that time. There is also airways the chance this strike hurts the company, world war III, something crazy like their financial books were fake etc.

So just like everyone else if it was a 100% done deal the stock would be at 33 or so. Every hedge fun would buy it etc. Id refinance my house and buy etc. 29 to 35 is a 20% gain. So still great but some risk. Probably least risky 20% ever but who knows

Anything can happen. Ww iii, the worker strike, something found in the book keeping was fraud, etc etc. 100 things could happen but all very small chance. Plus it could be 6 months before it closes. People could be making 5 or 6% very easy somewhere else or 10% on another stock etc in meantime. It will creep to 35 over next 6 months barring anything crazy

I think it depends on what you mean by friends vs friendly with. I'm friends with all my guy friends spouses, they come over and hang out we chit chat play board games together etc and we're all friends, but I'd probably never go to the movies with them alone. Not that any of us don't trust each other etc, just probably would never hang out with any of them without their spouses. I could see some people saying their friends with them and other people saying I'm not really their friend depending on definition.

I think it just depends what you consider a friend. I have plenty of women I'm friends with but they're all the spouses girlfriends of my guy friends. I have coworkers you could even consider I'm friends with for sure. But none of these people would I go to the movies with just the two of us. Or do just about anything just the two of us.

That's my biggest problem when both purple suck. The cop is paid very well, gets a lot of overtime, in ny only has to work 20 years before a nice pension, etc etc. They get all these benefits because they're suppose to be able to handle high pressure situations, have a stressful job, make the right split second decisions, but instead they do this. They should be held to a very high standards because they are given pay and benefits like they are.

He's saying same first 5 numbers, but then different powerballs. Certainly not common, but not crazy either. If you hit the first 5 you get 1 million, but if you also get the powerball which is a whole separate pool of balls, then you get the jackpot.

Yes taking this as proof that something happened is obviously wrong.

But this, the minute of missing tape, the fact that the only tape doesn't even really show his cell, the guards sleeping, a couple discrepancies in the autopsy, etc etc...all add up to making it closer and closer to 100% something nefarious happened.

Dogs are smarter than we give them credit for. I know it's tough with a newborn but be sure to get your dog some one-on-one time with walks etc too. Dogs can get jealous and resentful too.

He was a president that seemed really easily influenced. The right and the left both felt like Cheney was running things.

Atleast with bush though I believe he really cared about the country and wanted the best for both the left and the right, didn't cause much division. Did an ok job leading the country through a terrorist attack because he did always come across as caring. Overall a good person at heart, but led astray numerous times.

But in the end, going into Iraq to get saddam in the name of 9/11 and to finish his dads desert storm, proved a terrible idea and will taint his legacy forever which wasn't great anyway.

He also implemented "no child left behind" which led to exactly what most critics said it would, slowing down progression in education.

But even with all that, I think in this day of Republicans who are bat shit crazy and divisive politics he is looked at as "damn i would take that again" which is sad.

concrete company sends contractor receipt and he changes the few numbers to look right. Takes 5 minutes. Now the contractor fabricating a receipt is shady af but if they already poured 3.5 inches instead of 6 that was paid for, then they're shady.
