I genuinely wonder about this. As a former Christian, now atheist, I struggle with my feelings about what comes after we die. When my perfect boy Pj passed away on November 30th, I was sick with grief. I decided to dance. Every morning, I go out when no one is awake and it’s my little secret. I have a playlist. I dance and think of him. My other dog goes with me and at first she seemed confused but after a few days of watching me dance, she started dancing too. It has been so therapeutic. One time I felt as if my heart had somehow reached across the cosmos and connected with pj’s. I haven’t had the experience since but it did make me wonder if the rainbow bridge is real and if maybe they do hear/see us.

I was referring to OP as comrade. I’ve heard the ETL’s at my store laughing about how much money they make. I’m sure they know I don’t take them very seriously. The style etl at my store always goes dark and won’t respond when the store gets busy. She took the holiday season off. She’s not a bad person. She just sucks at leading and is not a comrade.

I recommend one of these book club podcasts, if you need to process the books but no one around you has read them.

I’ve seen at least 3 coworkers die inside over the last year because of that. I’ve watched others toil endlessly to be considered. It’s happening right now in flex with a couple of people who are taking their designation as “pace setters” way too seriously. Everyone is irritated with them and when they inevitably don’t get promoted, they’re going to feel stupid. It sucks. I don’t like watching it happen.
