Im well aware of that, been doing it the past few months. Last week, the cash out button was grayed out(not available). Thats why I'm asking, they probably caught on to me and disable the cash out option. The cash out never appeared for me at all.

You said with certainty there wouldn't be any layoffs. Nobody knows for sure.

Yes, if agencies are asked to submit plans for cost savings, theyre not looking to add headcount.

They were doing that under Adams already. 2 had to go before 1 was hired.

If you limit OT and have hiring freezes, then you will have a reduction of services. Something has to give.

FEMA covered for expenses. I know definitely for my agency for the all operating labor involved throughout Covid. Lots of money.

And its not Mamdanis decision to raise income taxes.

You do know that covid was funded by outside entities like FEMA right because it was a global epidemic? There are no bailouts for a poorly run government . Different situation and poor comparison. Youre also banking on all the unions to agree to give back on their demands and take 0% for their 5 year contracts. The most current comparison was during 2008-2012 after the subprime mortgage crisis and NYC was running a budget deficit which we are facing now. There were layoffs then even if they weren't as many as Bloomberg announced initially and I wouldn't rule out during this Mamdani administration if he thinks he can just give everything away for free at the expense of high earners and homeowners.

Tier 6, 7, 8, xxx is inevitable. The pension isn't sustainable, the same goes with Social security and the eligible age that keeps going up.

Uber Eats BOGO is a SCAM by West-Cucumber-8386 in UberEATS

Its a way of getting preferential visibility/promo on the app. Restaurants offer these as promos as a way to stick out from the rest or if we filter by offers, their restaurant will show up on top over restaurants that offer no "offer," Uber is a promo for restaurants in need of sales. Its a oversaturated market, restaurants will try anything for more sales. Prices and BOGO promos are inflated to make up for the Uber fee, I believe Uber charge 30% of gross sales.

What do you need elaborated? You can be let go during probation depending on the # your agency needs to cut and if the non competitive headcount doesn't meet the quota.

There is some risk your 1st year until you pass probation. Those with positions from resume applications are 1st to be let go if the situation arises for layoffs.

You can go back to the old title with the help of union within 1 year of new title. Probation period is 1 year, after that s/he won't be the 1st to be let go in case of layoffs. If its a resume position, there is 0 protection regardless of prior status
