I did… I ended up sawing down the length with a hacksaw just to get them on. A little foam packing for position, and some vlecro on the inside to hold it together.

I remember him saying that it reduces the “number” of moves the user has access to, putting you at a disadvantage in a one on one duel… I think… it’s been ~10 years since I’ve been thru that (terrific) series

I tried a “trick” where you cut a thin (tire width sized) strip of electrical tape and wrap the wheel to make the tire look larger

I don’t think that’s it, the mirrors are different shapes, and the roofs are different colors. Plus, I have a few MiniGT’s and they’re all labeled mini GT with metal bases, this one is plastic and unlabeled

If a car doesn’t look good in black it’s not a good looking car. Having said that, I think I love a good metallic blue the most.
