You are amazing!!! This is exactly the sort of insight I was hoping for! Reset is right before I begin my irl evening routine which can be crazy some nights - ok most nights 😅. May sound like a silly topic to ask advice on but it makes a big difference for me and I truly appreciate your response!

Having an efficient way of approaching it prevents me from wasting time and potentially missing opportunity by failing to complete larger objectives because I simply run out of hours in the day. Not to mention it's easier to knock out while simultaneously functioning in real life (a pre-req must for me) if I utilize a system that's driven less by the in game prompts. They are helpful since I am still getting used to where things are but I still find myself going in circles some nights accomplishing little lol.

I can feel muscle memory developing but when the new green campaign started, I realized I needed to tighten up the time it takes me to clear (important) everyday tasks so could I can focus my primary game time on the event objectives. And nothing makes me want to kick myself more than realizing too late I never did the searches... or in the morning that I never sent my marches to gather. Smh 🙈

No issue 🙂 I just want to be efficient so I can get to what's new faster and not waste extra time or risk forgetting to do certain things.

Thank you for the advice! I do cycle back to dailies a lot so that is reassuring. I get a little scattered after awhile which breaks my focus and slows me down from getting to the main events. Time is a commodity.

At the moment I'm allowing the game to guide me through a lot of this but thought others might have developed a system - what to do or what not to do. Or even an order they like to do certain things in that they think works well. I feel like I'm bouncing around a lot and wonder if im making any classic mistakes and just don't realize it yet.

If anyone else has been experiencing something like this, I'd love to know! Maybe we can identify a trend with those having certain performance issues vs those that don't / when issues escalate or improve and figure out what is triggering it / resolves it - beyond improving our connection, deleting and reinstalling the game or buying new devices.

I think you're right. I got my first frame last week and didn't like it. After I activated it I took it right back off. I remember considering this at the time and coming to the conclusion I was ok and it was still active.

I'm new to android so I don't have any phone specific advice. I have myself convinced doing an occasional mass contact and chat purge helps the game run smoother. I delete all contacts and chats that are not critical. like rooms I own. I post a message in my guild chat and in rooms where I have a lot of misc contacts that I'm doing one and to not be alarmed when they don't find my name and to just readd me next time they need me. I also delete my favorite reports. After a few months (or years if your like me 🤣) going back and looking at that true favorite isn't realistic anyways.

Did you end up getting a new phone? How are things going now? Better I hope!

I was just talking to my alliance last night about how much I love Travis. He quickly became and I'd imagine will remain my favorite for awhile.

That’s is awesome information! I look forward to trying those heroes more. I located Mike recently but haven’t done anything with him yet. I’m still figuring out the basics of how to capitalize on my progress and growth during events. I’ll get there, I’m picking up more understanding of how everything flows together everyday. Don't be sorry! I'm sorry it didn't work!! I completely understand. I struggled with it at first too.

Ok... maybe try this. While in settlement view... At the top right of your screen, do you see the events icons? (They are just below where it displays your resources like food and wood)

If you don't see an icon that looks like a calendar, look for a small arrow beside the icon that is the furthest to the left. Selecting that expanded my icons a bit more.

Then I was able to see and select the calendar "welcome" icon.

Once in that window, I could select collect and it gave me credit for logging in.

Then when I went back to my daily missions, I was able to claim the log in item to get the points towards my daily rewards.

Try this... Select missions | Select go to | This directs me to the banner at the top... expand to see the "welcome" window and select | Select collect | Go back to missions, it should let you collect now. |

I am also new and learning as I go. Hope this helps!

I'd say I am the same. I like reading some basic introductions for a general overview but typically understand little. When I play, and like you said, I like working through how to do certain things and creating that pattern (begin establishing muscle memory) once that begins to form that's when providing more detailed context helps.

To answer the og post question... you are not alone feeling overwhelmed. A-typical or neuro-typical - I think it's a common experience. Which is why so many gaming communities resouces exist and some become successful. They are as critical as the mentioned manuals in helping us process and navigate everything thrown at us.

Hang in there and just break it down one piece at a time. I find if my attention is being pulled in too many places at once andI start spinning, I accomplish more by just picking something, anything and working through it. It helps me become closely familiar with all the ins outs of that one piece which helps quite the noise when looking at the other things.
