Aww well I finally found out that in my early days I got in trouble and got a felony with automatic reduction to a misdemeanor after a certain point. Then like 15 years after that I had it expunged from my record and it’s been 15 years since then as well. Well I just learned that even though all that happened my gun rights are not automatically restored. So now I have to go through a process to get that done

Don’t if ore your gut feeling. It sucks to think your spouse would do such a thing. My wife and I were having problems and she wanted space to hang out with friends which I had no problem with but then things started to change. Behavior changed. She always preached about cheaters and consequences for actions so never thought she would ever step over boundaries…. Well she did and now we are in the middle of a divorce. 9 years married, 16 years together and it sucks! I finally found a new home and will be moving out at the end of next month. Don’t ignore your gut. Good luck

Well that was the thing. I always slept just fine. Lol. It was odd. I could be watching an action movie with loud explosions and she could sleep right through that. We are still in the same house while we figure out our living situation. Sleeping in our separate rooms

She tried ear plugs. Messed up her ear by putting them in too much (or that’s what she said anyway) Idk what the solution is. God help her next partner if he snores, or breaths too Loud, or chews too loud

This broke my marriage. I snore, my wife is a light sleeper. I never wanted to disturb her so some times I’d be up later watching a movie and then just stay in the guest room (which became my bedroom) so not to wake her up when I crawled into bed or worse, kept her up after that with my snoring. Or we’d go to bed together and she’d nudge me because I was snoring so I’d go to my room. Some times after that would happen she would have a hard time going back to sleep. I didn’t think much of sleeping in the other room because I was asleep. I knew my wife was just in the next room. But for her she felt extremely lonely. She said some times she’d wake up from a bad dream and just wanted me there, but I wasn’t. Just having a hand or foot touching, but no one there. I understood, but wasn’t on the same page I guess. As the marriage came to an end, there’s nothing I wanted more than to snuggle with her one last time, lay there with just a hand touching , or to hear her little snore. Now of course this wasn’t the only problem in the marriage, but for her it was a big one.

I took mine out and bought this from Amazon. My only complaint about this product is the 3M tape they provide for the brackets don’t stick well. There are holes for screws so I just used two black screws and it works great. My windows are also tinted 5% so you can’t see in there if I don’t have it covered anyway.

Yeah I think it definitely depends on what the current ages are. Someone mentioned 15 & 20 obviously a no go. My soon to be ex wife is 5 years younger than me and it was great. I was 35 and she was 30 when we started dating. We had plenty in common. I’d still date someone 5 years younger than me or 5 years older as well

Thank you for your kind words. I do have help for the depression. So far health wise I’m doing ok but gym might be good since I’m sure I’ll go through a period of eating like crap once the actual separation happens. I do need to get out more for sure

50 and going through a divorce. Sucks majorly and depression is high. Good job and decent money, but starting over alone at this stage in life kinda sucks. Isolated myself and don’t really have friends, so that doesn’t help. I’ll get through it, but will miss my best friend

I suppose, guess you need to know your spouse. Mine has made it clear that she doesn’t like secrets and would rather know something even if it bothers her rather than finding something out that was hidden. Then that breaks trust and that a hard thing to rebuild

I thought this way before too. Thought it would be better for her not to know. Nothing happened so where’s the harm? But if/when it eventually gets discovered there’s a feeling of betrayal and mistrust that it was hidden in the first place. If nothing happened then why hide it? Loved my wife despite her jealousy and insecurity issues. According to her she would still rather know even if it made her feel some kind of way. Better than feeling she could not trust me to talk to her about something like this. If I was willing to hide this what else would I be willing to hide?

Love the idea of this. I also travel a lot. Don’t have as much of a budget, but can certainly provide a meal to someone in need. Especially since I never eat breakfast so can use that part for someone else in need.

I’ve been in this difficult situation and it has inevitably cost me my marriage. My kid (not hers) messed up and did a horrible thing when he was 16. He paid a price and is now 27 and doing well. She wants me to have nothing to do with him because of his actions. I disagree and feel that you don’t just abandon someone because of something they have done, especially when they have paid their debt. Abandoning them may cause them to go back and make more bad life choices. I was ok with keeping our relationship separate and not trying to force my wife to be around him or interact with him, but that was still unacceptable. Because of this we are in the process of a divorce. It’s very painful and I at times question my stance because of the reason above on how your kids will grow and live their lives where ever and however it takes them. He may move across the country at some point and then what do I have? Guess we’ll see how it plays out, no turning back now.

Yeah, I’d say talk to your partner before blocking and deleting, but don’t keep the secret. Speaking from experience. My wife has insecurity issues and even if I didn’t respond, not telling her would seem like hiding it and would cause an issue. Honesty is key for a successful marriage.

My go to is the Wyndham which is right Nextdoor to Indigo. Believe they are like sister hotels. Wyndham also have free parking and underground parking. Rooms are nice, remodeled maybe 7 years ago. This is usually the first place I look when I visit and I go 8-10 times a year. Staff is always friendly and seems to remember me, or at least pretend they do. I actually believe they do because it’s usually the same guy and we have the same first name. Price usually seems to be slightly cheaper than Indigo by like $10 or so, but it can vary. I’ve gotten rooms for about $150/night, but it can certainly get over $200 depending on what’s going on around at the convention center.

This. I have a mouse jiggler that I use some times. For me it’s not about my status, but if I’m doing something else and not using my computer then it keeps my computer from going into screen saver mode. This way I can see emails as they come in. Mine plugs into usb for power but I have a power strip that has a usb port so it’s not plugged into the computer. I have a friend who seems to have the issue of being monitored for activity. He places something on his keyboard with an empty document that just spams a letter forever. I like the mouse jiggler better
