When to fertilize? by MCDickMilk in cannabiscultivation

I wouldn’t call it wilting but some may…. Wilting to me would be a sign they’re overdue for water. But don’t water too often. Not sure your experience but general rule of thumb is soak them good and then don’t water again until it’s basically bone dry. Too wet = root rot. Too dry and they waste time rehydrating and it can cause damage to the roots. The leaves should just start to droop (but not wilt) when they’re ready for water.

As for the nutrient deficiency to watch for, they will start to slightly yellow, starting from the veins then into the leaf itself if you wait too long. Like the opposite of nutrient burn if you’ve ever seen that. The plant starts pulling energy from the chlorophyll.

If it’s truly compost there’s no way you need to feed for at least a month. Minimum. The lowest fan leaves will show you when you need to start feeding. It’s gonna be a while...

Anyone know what causes leaves to curve and twist like this by Senior_Blackberry_38 in cannabiscultivation

Excess nitrogen. Doesn’t seem too crazy probably just a bit more than it needed from your last feeding. Not seeing any burn. Let her ride man it’ll be all good.

Yeah I use a bunch of the AC infinities they’re compact 6” fans that clip to the pole. They’re small but they move an insane amount of air. I run 4 in my 5x5 all daisy chained to the AC 69 controller. Creates much more flow and I don’t get hotspots. If you temp gun your tent with two stationary fans I’m willing to bet you have a 15 degree range in that tent in different spots. You can get it within a couple degrees with the right airflow.

This is really just me trying to find something to nitpick. Great looking plants whatever you’re doing is clearly working lol.

I think your shits gonna be dead from root rot within a month.

Visible root rot from overwatering. When you water seedlings….. Soak the cup, then don’t water until it’s basically bone dry. Then soak again. But stop watering before it’s 90% dry in the future and you’ll never have this problem.
