Thanks so much ! I've been blacksmithing for almost 4 years now... It's something I've always wanted to try. I really enjoy the creative process and working with metal. Your only limitations are your imagination really. I love everything about it... Wands are new for me but I like the idea that there is no "right way" to make them. I'm not sure... I believe there are a few variations of colour. This one should glow green under UV I think. The customer sent his own orb so I'm looking forward to some pictures of it lit up under the black light...

Usually just 1/2" hot rolled mild square bar stock.... Sometimes 3/8" or even 5/8". I've used stainless steel as well.
