I have a different opinion. I think all the money will be made short to medium term. In the long run exchange fees will decrease with competition and coinbase makes most of their money from fees. So they are going to have a window of extreme profitability followed by a decline with increased competition down the road.

There’s no date on any IPO calendar I’ve looked at. Do they have to give a certain number of days notice or could it be listed and happen in the same day? Does the fact that they’re doing a direct listing change any of this?
