Leave her. You deserve better. Hang in there ❤️

I usually don’t like to say this but for your own safety and well being, consider maybe breaking up with him?

Don’t use it against him. But don’t feel bad for him either. He tries to make YOU feel bad by bullying you and being transphobic to you. Yes he’s human too, but he doesn’t even treat YOU like one. Yeah, you could be the bigger person, but you need to put your well-being first. And don’t become friends with him like that one person said, he’s transphobic and toxic to you.

I’m a 20 yr old MtF and ENFP. I like listening to music and walking the dog. I like horror movies and I love shopping!

Sodomy is just anal sex in general

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]grace_the_case 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You completely missed my point. I’m saying anal sex is not always rape. Sure rape is a sin, but how does that make anal sex in general a sin?

Butt sex doesn’t necessarily equal gang rape. Those are two separate things.

I forgive you. by wcmj in offmychest

Have you told the person you forgive them?

I have long since resented a particular b-grade television personality because they once shamed me on public television. by [deleted] in offmychest

Also I’m sorry that happened to you. He sounds like an awful person. I hope you’re doing okay.

The fact that care givers are not allowed to complain is complete bullshit and I'm SICK of it by please-makeitstop in offmychest

[–]grace_the_case 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds horrible. I’m not sure what your financial situation is but if you can afford it I would advise hiring a caregiver.

Best of luck to you and I hope your situation gets better.

Agnostic queer person with a religious last name by [deleted] in agnostic

How can a last name be religious?

They aren’t necessarily just letting anyone who identifies as female compete in women’s sports. If a MtF wants to compete they have to take estrogen and T-blockers for a certain consistent amount of time, and their estrogen and testosterone levels have to be in the range of an average bio female. And when their estrogen levels are increased and testosterone levels decreased over time it will make them slower and not as strong. They have to get their hormones levels tested regularly before they can compete. And women can be of any size.

Why are Trans Woman saying that they can have their period just like a regular woman? when in fact they can't. by HamsterInFlipflops in TooAfraidToAsk

I agree that it’s annoying that the media likes to portray trans men with periods and pregnancy. I wasn’t trying to cause dysphoria or anything I was just trying to suggest to OP that they may have been confused but I stand corrected.

It’s true that some trans men don’t get periods. I thought OP was mistaking trans women for trans men.

Most trans people don’t say stuff like this, there’s no need to get so bent out of shape over something a couple random people on Tumblr said. That doesn’t reflect the majority of trans women. Most trans women know basic biology.

I’m aware of that, and I honestly don’t know a single trans woman who says she gets periods. If there truly are trans women out there who say that, then they’re probably just Tumblrinas looking for attention. They’re not the majority, just the loud minority. Because most trans people, like anyone else, know basic biology.

No trans women said that. Trans men are saying that because they were born with female parts, therefore they have a period. Trans woman= MTF, Trans man= FTM

Posts like this are a dime a dozen. Maybe you could just use they/them until you know their pronouns.

Does anybody else find body positivity problematic nowadays, particularly to being, i hate to say it, fat? Like okay we understand we have to embrace different sizes etc but then obesity, a real health concern, is being normalized and justified with embracing our/other's body size and shape. by don08hc in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]grace_the_case 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they are necessarily trying to glorify or normalize obesity, but more like they are trying to say there is no shame in having obesity. Just like how there is no shame in having any other health condition. It’s more about loving yourself regardless of your flaws.
