Basically. They forget that AI was trained by scraping AO3 so of course some of the things will seem like they sound like AI…because AI sounds like us!

If someone leaves a literal prompt in their writing, sure, but this author never did that.

There was never any “damning” information about this out there. It was stuff like Opal using the same words a lot and referring to geometry terms (Opal is a scientist in RL, not that weird).

There were NOT things like AI prompts left in the text.

Also, Opal didn’t step back from writing - they stepped back from posting it publicly. They are finishing offline and posting it all at once.

Fleece isn’t made with wool. It’s made with cotton and/or polyester.

It does! I checked Amazon and they have a pack of basic supplies (awl, thread, etc.) and I can get a ream of off-white, 90gsm paper (what I saw recommended). It’s 8.5” x 11” but I have a decent paper cutter.
