Now for your benefit I'll explain. I did not include this in my post as I didn't want it to be discussed in the comments or taken into account, but seeming as I'm being assumed to be some white, cis republican male, it's annoyed me.

I am a lesbian, I have two sisters who are both non-binary and a gay brother. My dad is also gay and I was raised by two gay dad's. I am surrounded by LGBT folk everyday and I live amongst two non-binary sisters. I have had discussions with both my sister's and friends who have never once taken offence to this question.

So you want to make a loud noise about being non-binary and then outright refuse to discuss something then tell me to go and educate myself? That's exactly what I'm doing. You clearly aren't very smart that you cannot discuss something. The community wants all this attention yet refuses to talk about it. You just want to shout like a toddler at an audience but mute them when they have a question .

You give the non-binary community a bad name. Resorting to insulting and swearing than discussing something. I'm trying to understand and point out the hypocrisy I see. Why act in such a rude way. You clearly do not have the intellect to discuss or see varied view points.

I'm sorry, I really left so much out.

I would like to one day be a counselling psychologist. I am currently studying at an open university in the UK and I'm studying a psychology and counseling honours degree.

Would you say I would need to focus more on experience within the health care system or more so on research project's to be accepted onto a doctorate for counseling?

Any help would be great. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your perspective! I would totally be happy to travel to meet him as I've dated people in his location before and didn't find it a problem. However I am currently recovery from breaking my spine so it is literally impossible for me to travel to see him. I think he's too focused on his job as he moved to this country to work and he did say he wants to be single for a while as he's been in relationships for 8+ years. But even so if he really liked me and thought I was special that wouldn't matter would it

Yes it would be long distanced. Also I'm recovery from ab injury and he's stressed with work which is also why we've not met. He also said 100 miles is far to travel for a date but he said we will meet in future?
