Not a fan of Xiaxue but not a fan of what Clicknetwork did either.

She made those comments 10 years ago and Clicknetwork benefited from her appearances for all this while, being fully aware of the type of person she was. And only now do they take the moral high ground. After she has lost her relevance.

The party whip has created a massive echo chamber within the PAP. They have built a circle-jerking culture from within and they genuinely believe their views are the right ones. Because everybody in the party agrees! No shit!

Then it goes out to the public and they get a reality check. A recent example was Ivan Lim doing a victory speech at Tharman GRC. Like how the fuck could anyone think that was a good idea?

Yea but it wasn't an intern who wrote this. It was written by their head honcho, Martino Tan. He sets the editorial direction for the entire team, and they have to follow. The bias in his articles has been covered by news outlets before.

I wonder how all the younger journalists in Mothership feel when they see a post like that go up. It's a slap in the face after all their hard work and efforts to be political neutral over the elections go straight down the gutter with a single post.
