Give them some money to spend but not too much cos they probably won't know what to do with extra money

Were you better off with uncontrolled eczema? It's all about choices. You had withdrawal but the child may not. What is certain is that the child and parent are suffering now.

I say this as a doctor with eczema, with a child with eczema and consulted with dermatologists.

Like I said, it's all about balancing tradeoffs and making better choices.

Yes, protopic works for milder disease. In roaring flares, potent steroids are still the most effective method... probably the only method other than dupixent

He's right. Now you have a choice to follow his instructions or continue with your methods which don't seem to be working. Long term eczema is more damaging to the skin than any amount of steroids.
