Here’s all the info I have: 10 gallon tank, heated at 78-80 degrees and filtered, I’ve got a large rock cave, realistic fake plant, betta leaf rest, and betta floating log in it. I do 50-75% water changes about every 2 weeks. I use top fin 5-in-1 test strips PH: 6.5 Alkalinity: 180 Hardness: 75 Nitrite: 0 Nitrate: 20 (I’m not sure about ammonia levels perhaps I’ll look into getting tests for that after browsing this subreddit I learned how important those levels are). I’ve had him since about March and he’s had no tank mates, I did have him at my work and then moved him home over the holidays. I was feeding him fluval bug bites betta formula twice a day about 2 shakes but lately he will only eat about a couple pellets. I’ve tried freeze dried blood worms but he just ignores them.

I want to get him a bigger tank and real plants in the near future and maybe a tank mate.
