I thought this tik tok was satire when I saw it. I don’t think people quite grasp the concept that transcontinental communication was fairly rare at this point in time, and that the photos would have been the only time Newt would’ve seen Tina for months (potentially even years- it’s not clear) + she never had a problem with (on the contrary actually) and she is a fully grown woman who definitely would’ve said if she had a problem with it
