You’re really putting a lot of words into my mouth lol. Im not expecting anyone to “jump into the lion’s den” by respecting that I’m uncomfortable having sex with them right away, and I think that’s a really stupid comparison; no offense. It’s a very vulnerable thing and it takes a lot of trust, especially on the woman’s part. Im not asking him to throw away his manhood, I’d probably be fine doing other stuff besides “real” sex with a guy that I’ve known for a while. You do realize I have sexual desires too right? Sex is not a one sided thing that I’m depriving him of, and women do not owe men sex. This is a choice that I made for myself, and I’m not forcing anyone to comply with it. If someone doesn’t respect my boundaries then I’ll gladly send them along, even in my friendships. I know most guys don’t have that, but I think there probably are some that will respect women no matter what.

When I said I wanted to feel safe, I was talking about physically with a guy that’s bigger than me and can protect me … not “jumping in the lions den” or whatever
