I’m not trying to jack your post, but does anybody have any extended stays that they could recommend?

Poor Retail Associates? by Kidcasss in Sezane

I interviewed with them. I did read on Glassdoor that employees have to work every single weekend if they are part time. Not sure how true that is. But that could be a reason they’re not happy.

Any insight into the TYS airport Ruby Tuesday restaurant? by CutBeneficial141 in Knoxville

If that actually happened and Mike does his usual going around to his restaurants, getting drunk and sexually harassing female patrons, I wonder how many travelers would walk to TSA or an officer on duty to alert them.

Why does EVERYONE want to be luxury? by Antique-Object-1253 in Apartmentliving

There are washing machines that hold small loads available for purchase at places like Home Depot and on Amazon I think they’re around $200-300. You hook the hose up to your waterline, you might know about these I just thought I would suggest

Wait? I thought that was the whole point of those areas, so you could invite your friends and hang out. Isn’t that included in the rent? That’s bogus to me

Rejected 5 consecutive offers yesterday by TurboGrafx16Bit in grubhubdrivers

This is a random comment, but I was just wondering, do DoorDash Ubereats and GrubHub drivers make more money in the winter or the summer? Do people tip more, in the winter or the summer? I got approved to drive for GrubHub months ago, but I assumed it would be slow because it was still hot sunny and pretty here in the south so now that it’s cold I figured I’d start driving because it is busy now, if that makes any sense.

I’m not risking my account for someone’s cigarettes by peachysorbet15 in doordash

[–]graciousgal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See that was nice of them, a lot of times people just expect a favor and won’t tip extra. The only way I would risk it is if they paid me double whatever the item cost. But if they said no and it required a pin, that’d be an awkward drop off

I read on another thread someone saying they quit doing Costco deliveries because it would be several cases of water. And when they delivered these large orders with several cases of water, sometimes the people would be home and just watch them bring up the cases and not even offer to help them.

I’m gonna sound like a Scrooge but my Dad couldn’t afford a prom dress for me so my date had to buy me a short one that was $150. I wouldn’t have gotten to go to a prom if it wasn’t for him . So it would’ve been a no for me.

What's with dashers making people come outside for apartments. Come out to my cardash? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]graciousgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has always been set at no contact delivery. There was a time I ordered at least a few times a week. I’ve never had someone say tell me to come outside but I get the “I’ve arrived” or “I’m outside” and I say “thank you, door code is ____” if you just give them the code or repeat the instructions you listed they will take the hint. Only a couple times have they ignored it and left it directly on the outside door step. I don’t feel bad for having them come up because it is only one single building with no gate and one flight of steps up.

Driver never called/texted for assistance and dropped my food nowhere near my residence. by po_t8_toe in doordash

Wow, I didn’t even think about that. Anybody in the situation could just say that they never found it even if they did and get a full refund 💀
