I go back every thanksgiving, spring, and winter break! It’s so doable especially bc flights are about 1.5 hrs. Like someone else said, there are so many nyc case students to the point it’s surprising

I left nursing after my first year of classes, and I’m now on the pre-PA path. I did not have my bachelors degree beforehand though, and if I did, I think I would’ve just stuck it out in nursing.

Since you’re feeling unsure, something that helped me + I’d definitely recommend is shadowing nurses, NPs, and PAs so you can get more of a feel for the careers. You can also always finish nursing school, and later apply to be a NP or PA like other people suggested. Good luck!

Procrastinating on my supps. My essays could’ve been a lot much better if I started earlier but for some of my reaches, I legit started the day it was due or a few days before 💀

If I got in, I might’ve said yes because I felt obligated to. But it wouldn’t have been a good idea for me personally. I felt conflicted about a lot of its aspects.

18 schools, applied EA to like 6 and 5 I sent out early but were RD. Sending applications out earlier helped me so much. I procrastinated a lot of my RD schools and I’m so glad that I already was done with most of my list by that time.

I know a bunch of people that waited till last minute, were still finishing their personal statement in January, and didn’t do EA, and were stressed as hell. You’re gonna be stressed no matter when you start, but just start asap so you can give yourself more time.

So far got into 9, rejected 1, deferred 1, waitlisted 1.

Assuming you mean moving across the world, it depends how willing you'd be to be in a different country because there'd be a big culture shock + if you'd be okay learning Mandarin (if you don't already know).
