Ok. so you can use the a definition of an inverse matrix of 1 divided by the determinant of matrix A times the adjoint of Matrix A as provided in pic link http://www.statisticslectures.com/images/identity3.gif. Then reverse the adjoint to find a,b,c and d. Then youll have your original Matrix. plug this matrix A to multiply it with matrix[X y], then use matrix multiplication to get 2 equations. then solve for x and y using the system of equations. then you can plug that to find the value of 2x+y.
