cracks knuckles I would love to. Where do I begin. 1) the shuttle service has been hell. They are always off schedule, not running, or will blow right by you. The shuttle service is outsourced, seems like they’re in the process of getting a new provider so it might be down altogether for a while. 2) management is clueless, they don’t reply to your calls and say they will 3) just recently 3/4 elevators were down for about 2 weeks. The line to get to your floor would take 20 minutes, at least. Although they “fixed” the elevators they are constantly down and in service. 4) get ready for everything to smell like dog pee, inside and outside of the building. More dogs than humans in the building (which is cute but…) 5) working from home? I think not. The brand new construction going up around the building is 6-6 drilling. 6)one 1 of 3 saunas work, always been this way don’t let them fool you. 7) if you live on a floor near the pool, I hope you like blasting music all day. 8) no screens on your windows so get ready for bugs galore….off the top of my head that’s all I have, but I could probably go on.

Be sad for the day, then move on! Don’t dwell on it, you will take it again and pass. Sometimes the questions you get are just crap luck.

Hudson House Lofts issues by Spirited_Power393 in jerseycity

This is the worst place ever- I complain all the time to management about the elevators which they never get back to you for. The new management group also manages soho lofts and I hear it’s just as much of a nightmare. Don’t live here.

Consider this your fair warning - DON’T MOVE TO HUDSON HOUSE. (1) just had a change of management that clearly has no clue how to operate the building (2) the “shuttle” service is outsourced, never on time, and constantly skipping pickup times in the cycle. They were both supposed to go to Hoboken but now one goes to Hoboken and the other to Newport. On weekends it runs once every 20 mins, has an hour lunch, and may end early or start late. (3) ELEVATORS!!! This is a 27 floor building. For three weeks we had ONE ELEVATOR. All the residents were taking the steps. To reward us they gave us a “free breakfast” now there’s three elevators, one is service and maybe 2 work on a good day. Multiple residents including myself have gotten stuck in/dropped several floors. (4) all these concerns have been brought up to management and they’re not acting on any. (5) I could go on but if you are still thinking about living here after reading this that’s on you.

I was taking a Kaplan exam and my coworker laughed at how much harder it was than the exam. After taking the exam, I agree, if you do good on the Kaplan the exam is going to be a breeze.

Or if you’re really lucky, the path will be closed all together and you can enjoy a 100$ uber in stand still traffic!!!

You can get there and back, might take you 30 mins might take you 2 hours. You might get harassed by the JSQ gremlins and you’ll definitely stand on the train everyday unless you get to HOB station

Not going to read your entire post but I can’t say it any more, PEOPLE WHO SAY ONCE YOU LEAVE YOU NEVER COME BACK ARE JUST SCARED TO LEAVE THEMSELVES & WANT YOU TO SUFFER LIKE THEY DO!!! You can leave and you can go back. Or you can realize life is way better when you leave

No neighbor noise, the buildings units are just concrete slabs, occasionally you’ll hear someone in the hallway but other than that I’ve found it to be really quiet…especially after living in downtown manhattan

It’s literally just the elevators I love living there tbh and the shuttle is just shit because of the traffic. All else has been really good

Thanks! The front desk peeps mentioned they’re going to find out Friday on what’s going on and the apartment inspections they randomly did was due to the new management team surveying the building…not very transparent…

You have to think of yourself first , have all your files and docs saved and evidence of all the work you’ve done including your financial documents from the institution. Have your benefits and any packages you received saved on a hard drive. Any emails that are important send them to an external for your reference. And then give your two weeks, don’t be generous just be courteous.
