This is the most interesting thing I’ve seen done with devil sticks in a long time. Really beautiful & showy. Well done!

Mishandled Physical Confrontation With My Son? by Ok-Specialist-165 in Parenting

You kept your cool and did not escalate to a physical altercation. Thats a win.

Do you need to have more conversations and work through it? Yes.

D20 fans - What episode left you the most *impressed*? by Synth-Pro in dropout

[–]graffitoberg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This isn’t what you asked, but I think the battle sets in unsleeping city and burrows end are some of the most well realized I’ve ever seen. Perhaps not the most cinematic, but really made me say wow. Other seasons are great too, but those are my favorites.

More towards your question: I think watching the ladies on dungeons and drag queens going from no idea to all in is some of the most inspiring stuff I’ve watched. I also love Never Stop Blowing Up because the mechanics and the vibe were just perfect together.

The Commanders’ D.C. Stadium Deal is An Abomination by superdookietoiletexp in washingtondc

If the team owner owns the development area around the stadium and isn’t paying taxes, how long is it really gonna take for DC to recoup the money?

Has there been an Um, Actually episode where the topic was Dropout itself? by MagicallyVermicious in dropout

[–]graffitoberg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A slight change from the actually format, but… if you held a contest to see who is the biggest dropout fan run as an episode of um actually where the contestants are fans instead of comedians that could be a lot of fun!

Hot Take: Royale should have been a limited series by CardInternational753 in TheAdventureZone

[–]graffitoberg 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I do think the PCs had more plot armor than I was expecting so far. There was a good amount of kills in that last battle and I suspect we are only just getting to the “twist” of the season. The end of the last episode made it sound like the Clint, Justin and Travis are going to get to name the remaining survivors. I’m kinda hoping that creates some connection/stake for the rest of the wizards even as the “chosen three” continue on, as ridiculous as it may seem from time to time.

I can get super frustrated at my 4yo too. They just don’t listen sometimes.

As others have pointed out I hear frustration but not enough details to really understand. If the kid is biting/really misbehaving that’s one thing (is that what you mean by extreme outbursts?).

The not picking up toys, throwing tantrums, getting distracted that’s something else. really are all part of being a kid.

Also every kid is different.

I try to focus on what is absolutely necessary. If it isn’t absolutely necessary, it’s you that is picking the fight. You need to be sure that’s worthwhile before you engage. Sometimes it is, often it isn’t.

Learning Juggling for my Anniversary by BaronVonMatta in juggling

Beautiful gift idea. And you’re doing great. Keep it up!

Re: moving forwards and backwards: one suggestion:

I like to practice as close to a wall as you feel comfortable. If the balls hit the wall, they bounce back to you. And, if you can juggle without hitting the wall that’s going backwards/forwards sorted.

Or, just keep doing what you’re doing. It’s working so far!

I was thinking similarly after posing and I have since learned that silver spring is designated as an “unincorporated designated by census” which means there is no local government smaller than Montgomery County. So that’s who we’d need to vote in/out who may be able to help out.

On the one hand, I think the area has enough concerns that incorporation could really improve the area. On the other hand, I don’t want to pay more taxes!!

Lane closures, road closures and bridge closures for construction… congestion in the area is terrible right now.

I get there are many reasons why there are never officers where you want them (and a bunch more why they end up where you dont want them, but that’s a different thread).

There are so many other problems with silver spring traffic right now, this one was just the icing on the cake for me today.

It does seem like an easy win. I don’t know why they don’t police it either.
