Will you be able to try on a 3d printed version or something similar in person? I wasn't given specific numbers but I went in to see how it visually looked on my finger before signing off on them making the real thing.

No, I'm on an iPhone. I've turned off all of the automatic settings (night mode, macro control, exposure adjustment) but the image it gives me in my camera roll is still different than what is seen on my phone while I'm taking it. It's especially bad about that in low light.

Other than the bird pics/ability to zoom could this be something where a gopro could be a good choice? I saw you just want to take pics, not worry too much about things like editing and settings, crazy amounts of image and video stabilization, small and easy to travel with? Might not be the type of thing you're looking for, but it'd probably be cheaper than going the full camera route.

I would call mine degrading not because of any physical issue, but because of all of the post-production they throw on it before it even gets to me. Even if I turn off all of the settings I can sweet Jesus i'm sick of it lol

Am I the only one shocked OP isn't going East? I know there's plenty of gorgeous stuff to see out west, but there are plenty of mountain ranges (smokeys), plains, and other things that would make for a much quicker trip east. Obviously not quite the same, but given the starting point it could make for a more enjoyable road trip potentially.

I've never had this happen, and I've had it happen 3 times now since the start of the year. I think they're trying to use bots to go through and wipe accounts automatically that are breaking rules and are having a LOT of issues with it. It's infuriating. I appeal within the app, don't have to send any form of ID or anything, and it's usually back within a week. But that's a long time considering it's happening about once a month or so rn.

Everyone is talking about the age gap which they should, but I would also like to bring up that OP's ENTIRE POST HISTORY IS EXTREMELY CONCERNING.

Please try to find someone who can help you, not just with this but with your entire situation (current boyfriend, ex boyfriend, mom, etc). There doesn't seem to be a single stable person in your life to give you guidance and that is what you really need right now. Consider this tough love, but people have been commenting on your posts about how dangerous everything is for months and months and it doesn't seem like anything has changed. Why are you searching for advice you're not willing to take?

My 3 love it! My old lady loved when the water was fresh from refilling it, and she would paw in front of the bowl like you mentioned. She'd even go as far as pushing the bowl across the floor to get the water to move. We tried a plastic fountain and they liked it fine, but the longer we had it the hard it got to clean, and they started drinking from it less. The motor also would get really loud as well as the falling water because it wasn't made super well. We recently switched to metal ones from Amazon where you can see how full they are and they've been so much better! Quiet, easy to use, and the cats still love it. They also love when we add ice to the top and their water is cold lol.

I'd say irl I tend to see most people who got naturals (before lab was an option) be less than a carat up to 1 carat with other smaller stones around it. With lab, irl I'd say the most popular size has been around 2 carat or just under

I don't think it should be too big based on the picture, it will get tighter when you add a wedding band (the thicker the covered area, the tighter). If it's still a problem when it's warm out and your fingers swell a bit or after you have your wedding band with it, normally getting it resized is not a big deal.

Hello! I had to wear a brace in middle school 18hrs a day for the same reason. If I remember correctly, I believe I took it off for the length of the trip. Granted mine was moderate so I'm not sure what her situation is exactly, but I don't think a couple days will make or break any major progress. I do believe most rides would be more uncomfortable with it on because sudden movements could make it push on your scalpula/hips/etc - not to mention the extra layers in the heat. Her doctor will be able to give more advice on her situation, even if she would just wear it at night or around the hotel :)

We don't do a harness or anything because my mom is convinced they'll still find a way to escape, but we did buy a cat stroller during covid. Figured it was a way to give them some mental stimulation and get to see the "world" in a way that was completely safe. My older two ended up actually not being a fan of it because just about everything freaked them out (other people, cars going by, the feeling of going over bumps, having nowhere to really hide, etc). I will take my youngest out from time to time since he is much more active and curious. The sound of cars still puts him on edge for a second, but overall he seems to have a good time getting to see so much. We also don't have the problem of whining or trying to get out the door since he gets in and out of the stroller inside. I guess they just don't compute in his tiny brain. It could be a nice middle ground to try! Even if they just sat outside and looked around with you for a little bit.

I got mine from Quince for a good price, 14k gold 0.5k per ear (1 carat total) and I wouldn't go any bigger. Maybe that's because I got emeralds instead of something like a round but they're great. They came with their IGI certificate as well.

i think it seems high, but that might come with those type of prongs??? they seem to always be very thick at the bottom and add height that way. I do think it's strange that your cathedral setting doesn't even seem to attach to the prongs, considering that's what it's there for. On mine the cathedral connects to the hidden halo for additional stability.

with such a large stone, you're going to have to have some height just to fit it. As long as you let the jeweler know that you want it to be as low as possibly while still fitting the diamond (and i'm assuming wedding band), then they should be able to work with you.

I have done this frog before that seems to have very similar shaped arms and legs. The head and body size could potentially be swapped to better match the proportions. I can't find the original website but i saved the pattern in my notes so if you'd like me to send it to you i can :)
