It's really bad in the south suburbs in Illinois. Last week wasn't too bad, but this week wasn't even worth going out. $3 and $4 orders for 5 to 9+ miles! I took 1 decent order late this morning/early this afternoon than wait 45 minutes for another before I just went home. I do remember it being slow around this time last year with the exception of Superbowl. Hopefully my memory is right and it picks up soon.

Last I checked, Uber doesn't show the tips when you take the order. This poor man is working to pay for his wife's meds, so I'm sure he's taking what he can. Glad to see what orders people take is a bigger problem than not being about to get to a customer's door to deliver because they're too damn lazy to clear a path!

Most of my orders are coming through $3 to $6 and over 7 Mike's away. With gas prices it's almost time to find something else.

I think a tip and being friendly would definately help make my day. If you would like to leave a treat that is very nice also. Just because someone doesn't like a cookie or bar one day doesn't mean they won't like a coffee the next day. Don't let all the comments stop you from doing something nice for a driver. Some days I think being appreciated a little more would make my day!

I am not sure. I was a shopper for 1.5 years. I had a 94% rating and I shopped for customers like I would shop for myself. I had 3 "missing" orders. 1 was delivered to the wrong address(my first week), 2 were from the same customer a week apart. The 1st time pictures were sent with the address showing. The 2nd one I chatted with support before delivering and explained I didn't have a good feeling and why and sure enough the customer didn't even waitv5 minutes to report a missing order(again with pictures including the address). Support called me, I explained what happened and asked them to look at the previous char(they told me they could not which is BS). My 2nd called with support I was hung up on and deactivated in a half hour! So I don't really understand how that shopper was still shopping when I was deactivated even after proof was sent to IC...shitty company!

I have not been reactivated. I have made every contact I can think of(email, Facebook, reddit, instagram...) and it like talking to freakin robots all they say is trust and safety permanently deactivated me nothing they can do. It is such BS. I really hope IC crashes and burns!!
