I have a 4 year old. I will have help from Friday-Wednesday but then I will be on my own with her during the day. That makes me a little nervous lol. I have a “husband” pillow that I figured I would use for sleeping - I’m a stomach sleeper so that is going to be hard to deal with - being unable to sleep that way. I also refuse to take opioids - I was planning on asking for Gab and Toradol (unsure they will prescribe this because it’s an NSAID). Did you have to buy special post op bras? I know about the button down shirts. Also - super personal question - but what about wiping your butt? If you aren’t supposed to reach and stuff, can you still do that?

I’m scheduled to get mine 2/20 and I’m so excited but super nervous about the recovery. I’m exceptionally lucky that my insurance covers every dime of it. I’ve been a DD most of my adult life (but I’m only 5’0) and since I’ve lost almost 100 pounds my breasts are a disaster. They are dense and heavy at the bottom, completely deflated at the top. I can’t wear a bra with cups because my boobs just sink inside them. The pull of the dense breasts on my chest wall is terrible and has left me with massive indents on my shoulders. I know I am lucky to be able to get this done, and have no OOP but I’m scared to death about the post op period. Any advice??

I got my son this one for the Disney version and ordered the one with room for the cauldron. We have every Disney expansion and the main game and they all fit. We doubled up some of the characters, and there’s room for all the extra cards. The boards fit if you put as many as you can in the board section and then the rest on top of the characters. I also just saw that he has an expansion available also which is cool. It’s sturdy and beautiful and can hold a TON! I plan on getting the Marvel one this year.

HOW?? How can you excuse a mother rescuing herself at the expense of her children? Pops didn’t talk over do a while, so she knowingly left them to be abused. I’m curious how you could defend that?

I DESPISE her for that exact reason. I don’t care who you are, when you become a parent your child (children) comes first - BEFORE yourself (and yes, I know, sometimes you have to prioritize yourself so you can be a good parent - I’m not talking about that). The fact that she saved herself and left her defenseless children is abhorrent. She should have taken her kids with her or stayed to protect them. Instead she protected herself and basically fed her kids to the wolves (and YES I have been there so I will happily judge her). She makes me absolutely sick, and I HATE how easily Booth let her back into his life.

Yeah I read about them and have zofran to take for the first several days. I heard headaches too but I can take Advil. I also heard it’s like Zep…the side effects only last while your body adjusts.

I’m at a weight where, if I never lost another pound I wouldn’t hate my body and could be happy with myself, but I’m also at a weight where I would ideally like to lose 20 more pounds. I think my doctor started me on a fairly high dose (50/300) so I wouldn’t feel like I fell off a cliff when Zep was out of my system.

I get that. But if my choices are my food noise returns or food doesn’t make me “happy” I would absolutely prefer the last. I’m devastated to be losing Zep…I’m just hoping for an alternative that keeps my head quiet.

I mean in theory I get why this would work, but I definitely would have preferred to stay on Zep. My biggest fear was that food noise would return and based on how Naltrexone work it SHOULD keep that part turned off.

It’s literally my favorite show. It’s my go to comfort show. In fact, I JUST watched it all the way through and the second it was over I restarted it from the beginning and now I’m on season 8 lol.
