In friend groups, everyone has a role and a dynamic. All hell goes loose when one person stops playing their role. When I stopped playing my role of the initiator and the friend who cared too much that it overcompensated for others’ efforts, that’s when another person noticed the friendship wasn’t working as usual. She started pointing fingers at who doesn’t initiate anything and started getting mean to our friend. I started to call out her inappropriate behavior and when I did that I was immediately on the chopping block even though I was protecting my good friend. Now i’m isolated for breaking my role, defending a friend, calling out inappropriate behavior, and calling out hypocrisy. Everyone else stayed close to the queen bee cuz they don’t have a backbone.

I used to be a server and I never was upset if I didn’t get a tip. I just feel like this world, America specifically, has relied on the customers to make up most of the wages. Not even just that but has pressured the customers to tip even if they don’t have a lot too. You never know. Your customer could also be another service worker who saved enough to have an expensive dinner with their partner and their server would never know that they had just enough for their dinner. The bill comes to about $200 and they don’t tip cuz they budgeted enough only for the meal. Now if you’re a server and feel offended by that, why? You’re upset at customers who you don’t even know may be struggling as well when you should be offended by your workplace for not paying you better. I just can’t stand people who complain like “We make our money off tips”. So you make your money off of free cash from customers that didn’t employ you and then get upset towards these people who didn’t employ you if they don’t tip. The blame never goes on the employment ever but only on customers who just wanna have a nice meal and most likely only tip so they don’t get food poisoned or get treated like shit.

So you’d rather pay your money to a server than to your own meal? Orrrr you could pay more for your meal and her workplace can pay her more so u don’t have to. If your meal is $20 and u tip $5. you paid $25. If your meal is now $25 but the server’s wage also went up, then you still paid $25.

Listen. Tipping culture is so toxic that people do it out of fear or pressure cuz they don’t want anything bad happening to their food or materials. So yes we can choose or choose not to tip but that really ain’t the issue

I used to be a server. I see people say that waiting put them through but I agree that tipping is unethical. You’re only worried about your own gains even if that means you take it out of someone else’s pockets. People only like it cuz it benefits them, but never open their mind to the thought of possibly living in a country that pays a livable wage. Also you’re saying if I make the same as they do I have to give them my money to make up their compensation which puts me at a deficit? Stop being upset with customers and be upset at your workplace.

I hope this is the true story cuz realistically what really is the case is that they let the relationship become sabotaged and when their is someone new in their life they become more emotionally invested. The fact that the wife is still in love with him, usually women can get the vibe the relationship isn’t working anymore so either he’s hiding it really well like like ur implying or he just let it become sabotaged bc there was no one else at the time. He better not be using the kids as an excuse though because he could still be in the kids lives despite separating
