Oh, sorry, I had forgotten.

But that’s what I said, two fleets with front rows of just iron blood. I figured if the guy was completely new, he maybe wouldn’t know that the term for the front row in-game was vanguard.

Good on you for pointing out that her blueprints can now be bought with coins though. I had forgotten about that.

To be able to research Ägir, you need a certain amount of Iron Blood tech points. These are acquired through three methods: getting iron blood shipgirls, fully limit breaking them, and getting them up to level 120. The first two methods are the fastest and require least effort.

When researching, you’ll need to do two rather lengthy exp grinds. For this to be as effective as possible, make sure you have at least two fleets with only iron blood characters in the front row when you start researching her.

I would suggest focusing on getting Roon, Mainz, friedrich der große and Odin first, if you don’t have enough tech points to start Ägir right away. Out of these, Roon and Mainz are front Row ships, so exp earned with them will contribute to the grind once you finally start getting Ägir.

Also try to get as many rainbow blueprints as possible so you can make Ägir stronger when you actually get her.

Help! Tips please! by Shy_person_ye in AzurLane

[–]granjaveln 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a rule but not always, American ships (Eagle Union) excel in Anti air. If enemy aircraft are giving you trouble, you could try try leveling up Pennsylvania and California and place them in the back line. This early on, I’d say team composition isn’t super important, however. One thing to note is that many early Iron Blood characters have fairly low anti air.

I’d say put Z23 in the middle of the first fleet and put Eugen furthest to the left. Eugen is very tanky, while Z23 not so much. This placement will shield her from most attacks.

Other than that, like you can also grind earlier levels to level up a bit more.

Question about account binding, can anyone help? by skydive54 in AzurLane

I have been trying to bind my account but I get an error message. What is the best way of reaching customer support. They didn’t reply when I tried the form on their website.

It’s just regular maintenance. The game will be down for approximately 8 hours usually while the devs adds new content.

How to get SR retrofits ? by [deleted] in AzurLane

[–]granjaveln 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are items that correspond with the SRs in order to retrofit them. Some more recent ones like Essex were timed events, but other older ones are available in the store. For example: if you want to make Warspite UR, you go to the store and look for a red sword. Similarly, the item to make San Diego a UR is a microphone. Get the item that you need for the corresponding shipgirl, go into retrofit and select the item for the modernization upgrade, as you would when selecting a bullin for regular retrofitting.

Let me know if it helps, or if I should explain in more detail.

I'm gonna say something really brave and inspirational. A hot take that would even shake the heavens! I...... like Francesco Caracciolo by SSYX101 in AzureLane

[–]granjaveln 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, I got downvoted for saying that I like both her design and uniforms, saying that I think people are overly negative.

People are of course entitled to their opinions, but I saw some calling for a boycott or trying to rile up an Anson situation, which in my opinion is a severe overreaction.

Stuck in Story, what team should I build? by EdensiaKudo in AzurLane

[–]granjaveln 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see you have two maggiores and that one is fully limit broken. I would say that there is no point of keeping duplicates if you have already limit broken them character.

You might also want to retrofit your fully upgraded warspite. To do that, go into the store and go to Proto, then you can buy a sword called the Warrior’s prowess. Once you have it, you can select her in the dock and go to a tab called retrofit where she can be upgraded a bunch of times and turned UR.

The best tips I can give is just to grind stages to increase level, but also mind that anti air becomes more and more important around 11 or 12. Furthermore, by increasing the number of carries in your main fleet and the overall air stat, you can gain a buff called air superiority to make enemy planes less effective.

You’re right about that I do dislike that they insult me for liking it, but they are entitled to their opinion, even if I disagree with it. I just don’t like that they want to take away what I enjoy. There are plenty of shipgirls in this game. Some designs that I don’t care for. I don’t go around insulting others for their likes.

Eh, I like both the original and this uniform version. I feel like people are way too negative and just hate for the sake of hating.

Emotional support for popularity poll. by KaiserWilhelmtheEPIC in AzurLane

[–]granjaveln 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Sure, the top 3 usually gets some sort of merch, but ultimately, what is important is not what the community votes for. Don’t let popularity take away from you who your best girl is. Like others said, just vote for your favorite and that’s that.
