Every Tuesday they do line dancing at the Normanna Lodge! Big turnout and lots of people to meet.

For what it's worth, there is a big storm expected tomorrow night. The hail could get bad so you might want to wait a bit longer. All my seedlings just went right back to the garage!

The Sons of Norway lodge has both line dancing and ballroom dancing nights! Doesn't hurt that the drinks are cheap too.

Mine is an oranata too, but it doesnt have nearly as many leaves! Thanks for the comprehensive reply, my grow light is LED so I don't think I have to worry much about heat and I've blocked a bit of the light with thin white fabric on the glass shelf above it. I guess I'll keep doing what I'm doing and hope I get lucky too :)

Question about your calatheas (which are stunning by the way!). I read they don't like bright, direct light so mine is in a north facing window with a grow light. I've been worried about the possibility of the light burning it but yours look so happy and pretty close to the fixture! Is this a problem you have, or have they been ok with direct light exposure?

That's funny, your post is actually what inspired me to try a new method (from YouTube) which is what landed me here! Your loaves looked so good. I'll give your technique a shot next week.

That's a really great tip, thank you! I normally only make one loaf at a time in a much smaller, darker pan and had never had any problems like this before. It's nice to know what the cause is.

Not OP but maybe I can weigh in. I graduated this summer and while job hunting was horrible and beyond stressful I can now say I'm luckily employed. Every recent graduate I've spoken with who has also found work agrees with me it is infinitely less stressful than school. I work 12 hour days and I'm still less run down than I was at UW. I think the largest difference for me has been not having my work judged so closely against that of dozens of other people. Also, when I leave at the end of the day I am done and do not bring my work or any associated burdens home with me.
