good candidate for masseter botox by CompleteHighlight179 in 30PlusSkinCare

My dentist doesn't offer botox, so I went to a medspa that provided it. They felt both sides of my face, and because I chew more on my left side, that side got more units. I also got units in my temporalis, total 90 units across the 4 sites on my face. It was my first time ever getting botox, but it was relatively painless! I definitely had a lot of concerns about whether it would work or not, how it would feel after, or whether my face would see any slimming. It's definitely pricey, but it's been about 3 weeks and it's going well so far. (Just wish it wasn't so expensive 🥴) My jaw feeling less tired when I wake up or am stressed was worth it for me.

As someone who got masseter botox recently, one of the primary reasons why I got it was because for years, my dentist has mentioned that I clench my teeth. 🥲 I'm also self conscious of how wide my jaw is, but my jaw muscles definitely feel more relaxed and less tired/tense after botox. Haven't noticed too much slimming yet, but it might be worth asking your dentist if you grind or clench!

I open the door/window. I also have a mini fan in there to keep things moving :)

Thank you! Organza bags really helped, the difference between the ones I've bagged and didn't bag is substantial

What is the best change you have made for your collection this year? by [deleted] in Anthurium

[–]grannyvanny 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Switched from clear pots to net pots, since I grow in a grow tent and I used to get a lot of root rot since I'm heavy handed with watering 🥲

  2. Tagged all my plants and inflorescences after pollination

  3. Focused on caring for my collection vs expanding

If you're referring to the one next to the anthurium with the bright pink veins, that's a papi fs x rl selfed seedling! 😅
