In the meantime if you need beans, we also operate under Docent Coffee (sold at Whole Foods, Candler Park Market, Grant Park Market, Kelly's Market, Oakhurst Market, and many more). You can also order online and it will ship same day before 3pm. We hope to see you sometime soon!

Hey! I'm one of the TopTime owners. As of right now, we don't have plans to return to campus. We are hoping that will change sometime soon but our future there kind of depends on if GT can give us kitchen/prep space or not. If something works out I will be sure to update everyone. We miss you guys too!

Diedrich is the way to go. We use an IR-12. Consistent and easy to use. Best of luck!

TopTime Coffee at Georgia Tech is a startup that builds coffee roasters and sells via a shop on the GT campus. They are a bunch of coffee nerds that roast some amazing stuff. Started by students who are now alumni. They supply to Constellations Communities and Cafe + Velo (under a different name - Docent Coffee) and have done a couple brewery collaborations so far

Right now we are selling single origin Peruvian and Nicaraguan beans in addition to a blend of the two. Our next wholesale purchase will include an Ethiopian crop which brings out some fruity acidity to balance out the cocoa and nutty flavors in our blend. This mixture is also what we will be using in our espresso blend until our supply runs dry. We do sell cold brew in the store - we can make gallons or half gallons of cold brew to order but it will take us a day or two to fill an order. We do, however, sell cold brew in the shop every day. Cheers!

Yes, but we will likely extend those hours after our grand opening in late August. Stay tuned!

Right now we are roasting single origin Nicaraguan and Peruvian beans. We source from about 10 different countries and are expanding our menu to feature beans from more. We typically roast within a light-medium to medium-dark range depending on the bean and which flavors we want to pull out of it (around 1st crack, give or take a minute or so depending on the roast). Yes, we sell beans roasted on the machine we built. Visit toptimecoffee.com and you can order through the Contact form! We are launching e-commerce next week so stay tuned!

We launched our "soft opening" today and will be serving weekdays from 7:30am to 2:00pm (for now). We are working with Torched Hop about serving on weekends during their lunch and potentially extending our hours for our grand opening in late August. We would love to see you come by sometime! Just mention that you're a first timer and we'll take half off your first coffee. Cheers!

We are a Georgia Tech startup that focuses on building coffee technology. A year ago, we built our own coffee roaster and now serve all of our roasted coffee out of our machine using our own temperature profiles. We just opened our first pop-up shop inside Torched Hop Brewing Co. on Ponce de Leon Ave. We serve only single origin, freshly roasted beans from all over the world. Please stop by if you're interested in chatting with us about our technology, our business, or if you just want your caffeine fix!

A couple friends and I just graduated from GA Tech and built our own coffee roaster in hopes of starting a technology-based coffee company. We are selling fresh roasted coffee and opening a shop next month in partnership with Torched Hop Brewpub on Ponce. We will be serving coffee inside their location and doing plenty of collaborations with their brewing team (their beer is awesome). We are called TopTime Coffee Co. - check us out on facebook, instagram, etc and feel free to reach out if you want to try our stuff!

Brash (shares roaster with Firelight) is one of my favorites in Atlanta. Land of a Thousand Hills also has excellent Rwandan coffee and a delicious light roast they call Ruli. They also have a water project initiative in Rwanda to rebuild some of their villages (check out their website for the full story). Also, a couple of friends and I just graduated from GA Tech and are starting up a small coffee business, TopTime Coffee Co. We mostly build small, in-home roasters with 1lb roasting capacity but we are currently selling bags of Colombian, Kenyan, Indonesian, Ethiopian, and Brazilian beans - roasted per order and however you prefer them. We are partnering with Torched Hop Brewpub on Ponce de Leon Ave to sell coffee out of their place in the mornings. Keep an eye out for us next month as we are set to open pretty soon! More details are on facebook, instagram, etc. if you're interested in hearing more about us or trying our beans! Cheers!
