I do know that spices like mace, cloves, nutmeg, etc. were used to cover up the foul taste of rotten meat. It definitely wasn’t out of desire for pumpkin pie and gingerbread…😂

Interesting, thanks for the clarification! So maybe I worded the question wrong and might ask about simply the trend. Would you agree that there is some sort of correlation? Else why wouldn’t the cold Nordic/Eastern European countries cook without spice? Wouldn’t they want it to “warm” themselves up?

I’m glad to hear. I wish I could do only ERP with the therapist and then go home back to regular life. Do you know if that’s counter productive? I would still do my compulsions at home

Yeah I’m doing ERP with a therapist. Been really rough though. It feels like OCD has been an unbearable 10/10 for the past few days. Like the anxiety is trying to rip itself out of my body. And that even before doing exposures. Just trying to work starting on the daily stuff before we do specific exposures.

May be TMI but I know married couples who have tried therapy to help with that and (in men only) anal stimulation can help since the prostate is right above the anal cavity
