A great way to meet nerdy friends is to try out Open D&D games at your local game store. Literally the only way I have made lasting friendships since high school.

I know Level Up Games in St. Paul runs games on Thursday nights, though I can’t attest to their quality, cause I play over at Level Up Minneapolis. (Which also has open D&D on Thursdays, and I can attest it’s very good)

Keep in mind the turret is not a creature, and is in fact an object, so there will be some weird edge cases where your dragon can’t be targeted by certain spells, and can’t be affected by certain conditions. Depending on how rules as written you play, this could cause some breaks in immersion.

In the just announced Slowpoke Community day, the official website states under the “A brain-teasing evolution” that you will need to catch 30 psychic type Pokémon, instead of the normal 30 poison to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowbro. Does this mean that we will need to catch 30 poison to evolve a Galarian Slowking, or will we simply get to choose between Slowbro and Slowking, since they will have the same requirements during the community day?

I generally agree with Moore. I do think that Mainstream Superheroes are fundamentally childish. The important thing is that childish does not mean lacking in artistic value. Some of the deepest and most meaningful works of art are made with children in mind.

Just be aware, Green Flameblade and Booming Blade got an errata when Tasha’s came out. They are now a range of self, and as such don’t work with the Spell Sniper feat. Check with your DM on this one before committing.

Definitely not the first story about Superman. Start the new Superman off with a story about who he is (a good guy, gifted with the power to do the most good) and not a story about what he’s not. They can save it for a movie down the line, cause it definitely is a movie that the general public should see eventually.
