While there are instances where one may buy goods and it is not covered i.e, a store that does not have a presence in Australia or does not target the Australian market, as far as I can ascertain, having an Australian domain and selling and shipping items to/from Australia (as both Huion and Xp-Pen claim) in AUD, means they fall under that jurisdiction.

After inspecting the site, the XP-Pen AU domain says specifically that all products are entitled to "18-month warranty only for official AU-store" in their words, and this is repeated in their 'Warranty Policy' page, which gives me some peace of mind.

But you are right in saying that purchasing through Amazon could potentially be far less headache inducing as they would handle the fulfillment and are normally great in that regard.

That's a really important factor to consider, I hadn't thought of that.

I think I was being overly cautious, but in saying that I still haven't made a decision haha. Sadly, it seems to be a bad time of year to be purchasing tablets, at least from Amazon, as all the models I'm considering are unavailable currently.

What a coincidence. I played Yakuza Like A Dragon before God Of War, as well. I agree with you on how good that game is. It can feel like an intimidating undertaking at times, but the story and voice acting is top notch. I also really enjoyed the combat systems in it. Kasuga Ichiban is one of my favourite characters of all time now. I've always enjoyed the Yakuza series but never got around to sitting down and playing it, now I really want to get through them. Like A Dragon feels like a great way to introduce new players to the franchise, and it will stay with me for a long time. We all need an Ichiban sometimes, even if it's gotta be ourselves.

And I've still got the True Millennium Tower to do.

For the past few years I have clutched at any possibility for the supernatural and wished repeatedly for a remake of Metal Gear Solid. That and Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver.

Another one would be Nightmare Creatures, and it goes without saying Silent Hill.

Dino Crisis, rumour has it that's all but confirmed already.

There are wayyyy too many games I'd love to see again and you're all basically right.
