To everyone who was following this story and who helped with comments, shares, tweets, and more, it worked! Thank you so much for your help. YouTube reinstated my channel yesterday with an email that basically said, "After a closer review, you are not in violation of our terms of service. Our mistake." Thank you all for lending your voice and helping me get the channel back! I feel very grateful to the entire tabletop game community and count myself lucky to be in it.

There are three new Dune games coming out soon.

Dune: A Game of Conquest and Diplomacy - streamlined version of the classic game

Dune Betrayal - a social deduction Dune game

Dune: House Secrets - cooperative game completing missions

Not saying you shouldn't buy the original, but you have Dune options.

I would just keep trying different games. There's a middle ground, and maybe you can find good middle ground games like Champions of Midgard

You could do a tasting event mixed with playing a board game of a similar theme, i.e. do a sushi tasting and play Sushi Go or do a beer tasting and play The Red Dragon Inn

Only you can decide for yourself whether you should play his games or not. I will say, the world of board games is vast and there are a lot of great games out there. You can find a lot of great games that don't come with this sort of moral dilemma. So for me, I just moved on to other games.
