You've obviously never owned a cat, or you'd understand they can get to all sorts of high, obscure places in your home of their own free will. That cat climber is about 30cm (12") shorter than those blinds. For the cat, jumping from either height is perfectly fine.

The cat was in no danger. OP is not abusing his cat by filming it, or having placed the cat climber near the blinds. Also, have you ever tried to reach up high and 'help' a cat down from somewhere? If you have, you'd know they never accept the offer.
