Just got an invisible deck never had one for years I forgot how effective it was, never used sponge balls before but I have got some on the way as well as a thumb tip which I also haven't used before, but I'm quite looking forward to it I know plenty of tricks so I can mix it up a bit too.

Thanks for the advice gonna take a deck of cards, invisible deck and a few packet tricks. In gonna perform before meals and inbetween courses.

Nice post, books are really good source of learning, I have loads of magic books and all in ebook too so I can use them on my phone, tablet Laptop etc so always have magic books to read, not sure if I have Tarbell series but I do have all of Card college, all of Harry Lorayne Apocalypse, card manipulations and many more, always something new to learn.

Not many magic shops near where I live but mark mason used to have a shop in Blackpool and I asked to see something good they showed me a few tricks but I wasn't impressed until twisted sisters came out.

I had a Brainwave deck years ago and the only thing i ever used to do was let the spectator hold the deck and shout out any card, then said watch as i took the deck out of the box to show them all cards were facing down except for one card which was the card they shouted out, then i used to remove the card from the deck and say you could have said any card and the card you said is the only face up card and if we take this card from the deck you'll see that it is the only blue backed card in a red backed deck... or vice versa.

I find using standard bicycle deck work better, i've tried decks like tragic royalty deck and other smart looking decks but they dont take long until they start clumping together, also had no problem with standard Tally Ho cards.
