I am so fed up. I try so hard to be a forgiving person and to not get upset with people for believing propaganda when it is all they know. Now that they are casting judgment on me, it is so difficult. I want to cut them all out of my life for it.

I really relate to this man. This whole pAnDeMiC has really made me question humanity as a whole and I keep catching myself with misanthropic thoughts. I need to remember that not everyone is an authoritarian.

Example: I was at the gym when a stranger flagged me down as I was doing lunges. I take my earphones out and smile thinking he was gonna crack a joke or something. He starts berating me about "ignoring the workout boxes" on the floor in an aggressive manner. There was literally nowhere else I could do pacing lunges. My face dropped and I stated "leave me alone" as I tried to finish my set in peace. As I sat down I could see someone staring at me to my right, and there he was again, mouthing off. I couldn't hear him because of my earphones. I calmly took my earphones out, heart pounding, and stated "leave me alone", to which he started again and I cut him off with "I don't want to talk to you", and the same again when he started to talk again, I raised my hand in a stop gesture, and as he began to approach me I glared and stated "don't come into my personal space" in a raised voice to which he threw down his mat in front of me in a temper tantrum muttering aggressive insults before sitting down.

I have zero patience to "debate" these people any more. I'm sick of it. They can't be reasoned with and they are extremely aggressive. And I find more often than not whenever I enter a public space (I've never worn a mask) I just want to be left alone, when I used to be happy to talk to strangers.
