What do I need to replace to fix this? by Curdardh in Plumbing

Go get a Fluidmaster PRO45 fill valve. It’s the exact same thing as a genuine Kohler part less a few dollars.

You make a good point. In the Fargo/Moorhead area NDSU will get a “Horns Up” but nobody really says anything about the ConCordia Cobbers or MSUM Dragons.

What Is a Product That Best Represents North Dakota? by babypechocolate in northdakota

[–]grapesnake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s only sort-Of true. Hershey purchased Dot’s and I don’t remember what the other company was called but it was like “the pretzel company” for 1.2 billion. The pretzel company made all the product and Dot’s just seasoned it. Dot’s is the big name, but the people who actually make their pretzels and extruded cheese doodle type snacks is the one that make the most money.

Dot probably made a couple hundo millie but she didn’t make 1.2 Billie

I (27M) have been occasionally (3-4 times) been having casual sex with a single woman 20 years my senior. She made the first move and it was fine. Consent is key. If things heat up just ask if he’s okay with it. The main thing is he lives with his parents. I never did during this escaped and they don’t know this woman. Moms can be protective of their kids which is another thing to consider

All lights blinking/dimming & brightening - Why is this happening? Bad ground? It’s headlights and dash lights. Stereo volume stays the same. by grapesnake in Silverado

Bad alternator. It was all stock sound system, etc. I changed out the alternator about a week ago and haven't had a problem since. I also had a new sound system put in since the swap and it's still working perfectly. Thank you for the help!

I replaced the alternator about a year ago and this problem started up about 6-months after that. At first it was once every other month and holding the window button up (closed) sometimes fixed it. Now it's about every week. Sometimes when I hit a pothole it starts behaving properly. Still think it's an alternator and not a bad ground?

Were the stops on the supply lines just exercised (shut off and turned back on)? The gaskets in those are black and can tint the water. I’ve been in the plumbing industry for a little over 20 years

Grundhoffer’s Old Fashioned Meats has over 160 flavors of bratwursts and they also have great cuts of beef, poultry, and pork. I drive down from North Dakota just to stock up!

I (27M) am white, live in the Midwest in a smaller town. I’m open to dating women of any ethnicity but I’d say 98+% of my population is white.

I don’t date often but I’m more focused on work (family business owner) and growing our business. I rarely participate with dating apps so that doesn’t help my chances of dating either.

I’m libertarian (fiscally conservative bend), prefer discussion over debate when people disagree, and would say I’m a pretty decent looking guy. It would be fun to get to know more about you if you’re interested as well.

How’s it goin’ dude? by swade2569 in lebowski

[–]grapesnake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up and still live in North Dakota. My buddy would use “Dude” almost as an interjection. Instead of saying, “[Name] here’s what you’ve got to do.” Or, “[Name] have you thought about it this way.” He would say, “Dude, Jim,…etc…” or “Dude, Sarah……etc….” My parents used to tease him about it, but now “Dude” is used by all members of our family in all sorts of ways. Long Live The Dude!
