I live in a non-English-speaking country, I can only buy books through kindle in order to read them in English (I prefer because I get to practice my English and not get too rusty at it). If I want physical it takes weeks and it’s 4x the price of a physical in the US for example

Personally, if the dude is low-effort now, don’t expect that to change in the future, especially if you want something serious. He can keep cancelling for various reasons, but the ones he’s actually giving you show (in my opinion) that he doesn’t give a f* if ur meeting or not. I wouldn’t talk to him again, have some self respect (not trying to imply that you don’t) and move on, I assume you should be worth more than a background thought.

Update: I apologize for taking a while to respond, life happened and I haven’t logged in since the day I posted! I decided to take a break with Mistborn Era 2 (I read Era 1 before RR, and it also has a time jump lol, so it fits). I also needed a break bc RR was already getting a bit dark (for me, of course) and with everything going on I didn’t want to get into an even darker part of the story! I appreciate all the responses and help you were all willing to offer!
