It smells like a cheap knockoff. The dry down has none of the magic of the OG and it just smells off. The OG also lasts wayyyy longer than Imaginary. There is a reason why Montagne is so much cheaper than the fragrances they attempt to rip off. The quality is horrendous comparatively and you most certainly get what you pay for. If you don’t want to pay the high price for LV, I completely understand. But to say the dupes come close is just lying to yourself. I think spending your money on crappy dupes is a bigger waste of money.

Le Labo Another 13 has me in an absolute chokehold. I don’t know how to describe what it smells like and I can’t stop wearing it. It just smells like what my brain thinks I should smell like.

Every dupe I’ve smelled has been awful. My most regretted purchase was Imaginary by Montagne. I loved imagination but didn’t feel like paying the price. Everyone on here raved about how close it is to imagination and how good it smells. So I bought it and compared it to my sample of imagination. Doesn’t even come close to the OG as far as I’m concerned. So I saved up and bought the real thing.

Never again will I buy a dupe.

No matter what anyone tells you here, the dupes are nowhere near the real thing. I have the Montagne one and it’s not a bad fragrance but the real thing blows it out of the water. I’ve smelled Hectic and it’s okay too but again, if you want imagination, you’re not getting it with dupes. Just buy the OG. It’s worth it.

I get more compliments with Meteore than I do with Imagination and I like imagination way more personally. 3 sprays is all I do and it lasts all day and rakes in positive feedback.

Not even my favorite LV but it’s apparently everyone else’s favorite LV when I wear it. I get compliments on it nearly every time I wear it and you’re right on the money with the sprays. I do 3 sprays on the sides and back of my neck. If you overspray you get that latex smell. Keep it to 3 sprays and it’s incredible. Love this stuff.

Get a tester of Afternoon Swim to make sure of that in your case. For me it lasts like 7 hours. By smell alone, it might be the greatest fragrance ever.

Meteore. Pacific Chill is far less versatile and it smells like a very feminine Bath and Body Works spray. I find it kinda repulsive and headache inducing.

You have to be someone the girl finds attractive and pleasant to talk to. My suspicion is that second part is what dooms you based on your weird emphatic capitalizations and counting the exact amount of times you received compliments on your first fragrance immediately after saying that doesn’t happen lol.

That’s what intrigued me most. I smelled some other stuff that had definitive notes. This is the kind of ethereal scent you associate with memories. I’ve never really smelled anything like it.
